PREMISE: CINEMA FILM NARRATIVES

In these works, the Premise, explores, it's counterpart in film making, a potential cinematic moment. Further questioning the cinematic moments are a series of black "redacting" bars, which block out segments of the action, or presentation on screen. This moving black bar, thus redefines how we see, or gather information once we have constructed a story, or visual narrative.

In the narrative construction, the moving images are resized, redacted, to change the orientation of emotional and visual content shaping what could be a story narrative into a visual construct.

Here the premise or conceptual narrative is pitted against a common visual event, not explored.

In the narrative construction, a narrative construct built on place, abandoned places, forgotten values and art world luminary Richard Prince.
