REcreation Title sequences for cable television series:
Art which is outside norms, garbage, internet waste images, revulsion, sickly, humane areas over exposed, intimate, physical, not art, immature, nondescriptive, not worthy, error-filled, glitches, warps, data corrupt, appropriated, capitalized on, or stupid. Art making, non-Art making, pointless activities toward ideas?Pointless activities toward communication outside acceptable practices of delivery of ideas.
Laladada began as a small experimental art group, exploring technologies influence on creating culturally rejected images. Examples of which are digital photos whose digital code has been hacked disrupted producing new originally, grotesque images all disrupted from computer code. In addition, images were chosen on the basis, of sub-cultural use, medical images and slide, corpses, fetish groups, and imagery, extreme cultural groups etc. Numerous exhibitions throughout the 1990's and into the early 2000's took place. Some works such as the "Occupy distorted prankster mask" a rebuff to Corporate capitalism's image making becoming a global iconic image of a people movement, ended up in the Smitonsian Museum national archive for historical events and artifacts. The exploration did result in the development of new vast image uses in visual presentations and the very definitions of image space use played out in the large scale projection works. Viewers now could be the source as well as images and place changes, just by shifting their bodies around the room. All context could then be created through endless visual juxtapositions both in image choice, modifications, etc. Lala Dada.
